The Learning Support Services staff of Sequim School District No. 323 is conducting on-going developmental screenings for children ages Birth through 21 who live in Sequim School District, who are not attending school, and who may be delayed in one or more of the following areas: cognitive, communication, fine motor, gross motor, social/emotional, adaptive skills or health impairments.
The purpose of screening is to identify any developmental delays that may potentially affect a child’s performance in school. The intervention program offers the child and their family a connection to appropriate services, education, and information.
Any individual or agency provider who wishes to refer a child for screening should contact Sandy Kurtz, Special Education Programs Secretary at 582-3402. Please include the child’s name, birth date, age, mailing address and telephone number.
